Barcelona embraces graffiti and street art . It flourishes and can be seen everywhere. Stores hire graffiti artists to paint a mural on the steel grate which secures the store. It makes for beautiful art and attractive streets when the stores are closed. This graffiti art also changes what you see from day to night since some shops are open during the day - such as stores - while others don't open until evening - such as bars. So the graffiti murals which are displayed during the day are different from those displayed at night.
